Food, People & Elephants!

I would easily consider food, people and local animals as the most important things during a trip.

Discovering KSES was an excellent opportunity in this way. We have met passionate, sweet and friendly people that helped us to learn more about the community and the local animals.

In addition, we have also met other backpackers with differents stories and projects who impacted our travel's plans.

We have been staying at Jadee's house for a week (a Karen woman from the village) who has always prepared us delicious meals ! Most of the dishes were made of rice, vegetables and chilli.

Finaly, we have discovered the 6 elephants of the sanctuary through our hikings organised by the KSES's team. The main objectiv is to contribute to understand elephant's behaviors through field's datas collection.
