Amazing opportunity

Being a photography intern with KSES has been a dream come true for me. As an amateur wildlife photographer, the opportunity to photograph Asian elephants in their natural environment is beyond anything I thought I would ever do.

Besides photographing these majestic creatures, witnessing their natural behaviours, interacting with the coordinators, guides, and mahouts, making incredible new friends, and experiencing the incredible scenery have all been highlights.

However, I would have to say that the best part of this trip has been seeing the excitement in my daughter's eyes during our first elephant encounter, watching her interact with the village children, and seeing her artistic abilities as a photographer blossom.
