Do You Know About Us?

We are a nonprofit foundation dedicated to providing our elephants with the best life possible, supported by our visitors and volunteers. Our goal is to bring elephants back to the forest by collaborating with local communities to not only create a haven for our elephants but also offer an alternative livelihood for their mahouts and owners. As an award-winning elephant foundation, we are committed to returning elephants to their natural environment and ensuring they have as natural a life as possible by closely partnering with the local communities in our area that have cared for elephants for many generations. We established KSES and have been working with local communities and our elephants since 2016; however, our team has been part of various organizations for years prior to this. Our funding comes from our visitor program, which enables us to continue our work and support our elephants and the local community.
